Food is bad here, so people generally arrange it from outside, or some of them also go to ICT for
the food, which is situated just behind VJTI, because food at ICT is pretty good
Faculty is bad to okayish, most of them are PhDs from IIT Bombay, but the quality of teaching is
not that good.

Jayant Patil (Cabinet minister) is a notable alumni.

Infrastructure is not that good because it is an old college
As VJTI is autonomous institute, there are no complications of Mumbai University Rules and
Regulations. But at the end of the day, you’ll get degree from Mumbai University.
VJTI tag is big, but it isn’t big enough to let you chill away your college life. If you work hard
here in this college and network well, a very bright future awaits you.
